Holdsworth School is due to open in September this year and will accommodate up to 70 pupils from the surrounding areas with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, communication and interaction difficulties and those with a neurodiverse profile.

Since 2020, Polaris has been a signatory of the Armed Forces Covenant and we’re proud to show our support and recognise the importance of honouring those who serve. We asked Richard Keightley, our Headteacher at Apple Orchard School, who previously served in the Armed Forces about his own experiences and what the Armed Forces Covenant means to him.

Refurbishments are well underway at our newly named Olive Frances School in Banbury which is due to open to its first cohort of pupils in September! The new school will provide places for 84 children from Oxfordshire, including those with a neurodiverse profile or social, emotional and mental health needs.

We are delighted to share that Sophie Surtees , Learning Support Assistant at our Kirby Moor School, has been named a finalist in the Rotary Club of Hexham Young Employee of the Year Award 2026!

Some exciting news at Polaris Education, as Lyttelton House School is set to open soon and will begin welcoming pupils this summer! Located in Andover, the school will be serving children from Basingstoke and across Hampshire with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. It will also support young people with a neurodiverse profile.

The 25th of February 2026 marked one year since Barraclough Hall School welcomed its first students.

The building has been renamed Elmy Hall School in honour of Elizabeth Wolstenholme Elmy, a Cheshire suffragist, teacher and human rights activist who opened a school for girls in the area.

We’re thrilled to announce that Redstone Hall School will officially open its doors early this spring in central Ipswich.

We had a very exciting day here at Becker School when we welcomed a special guest –  Iqbal Mohammed, MP for Dewsbury and Batley.
